Any property which was bought for a cost higher than Rs.100, you have to get it registered. However the procedure&nbsp; of&nbsp; online registration for property in India is provided in a few states only.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You could calculate the Stamp Duty, can also pay stamp duty as well as registration fee online, also you could receive a payment receipt online. Payment could be made using <a href=\"https:\/\/www.leadindia.law\/talk-to-lawyer\">Net Banking\/ Debit Card\/ Credit Card or any payment bank.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Points to be noted while registering for property online in India:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In India, not every state provides for the registration of property online. In case your state provides for the online registration of property, following points must be kept in mind-&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You have to ensure that the state where the property is situated provides for the online registration of the property.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Following services could only be availed online-<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Stamp duty rates could be checked<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Stamp duty as well as registration fee could be paid online<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Payment receipt could be received online<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Later you have to visit the office of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.leadindia.law\/\">Sub-Registrar<\/a> with your payment receipt&nbsp; to complete the registration process.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1% TDS of the property value has to be paid if the value of the property exceeds Rs.50 lakhs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For the online registration process, information including name, address, type of the property, ownership status, description of the property as well as proof of the property has to be provided.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Factors which could affect the property registration charges:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>The type of the property-<\/strong> fees for registration is different in the case of commercial and residential property.
