Only those agreements which are enforceable by court of law are legally binding are contracts.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What is a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In essence, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) means the cognizance by both the parties with respect to a particular transaction or a project which they wish to undertake. Titagar Paper Mills Company Ltd. &amp; Another, has stated that, \u201cIt is true that the nomenclature and description given to a contract are not determinative of the real nature of the document or of the transaction thereunder.
