Many children are remarkably vulnerable in the event of a disaster. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.leadindia.law\/free-legal-advice\">Such conditions can cause serious disturbances in their healthy adulthood<\/a> and development as well as overall happiness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Vision Of National School Safety &#8211;&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.leadindia.law\">National School Safety Policy<\/a> guidelines pertain to all academies and schools in the country \u2013 whether government-supported or private, regardless of their location in provincial or urban areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The guidelines follow a vision of India where all children and their teachers are protected from any hazards in the school community that may jeopardize their well-being while pursuing knowledge.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text alignfull has-media-on-the-right is-stacked-on-mobile has-background\" style=\"background-color:#cbcbcb\"><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center has-text-color\" style=\"color:#000000\"><strong>Need A Legal Advice<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-extra-small-font-size\">The internet is not a lawyer and neither are you. Threats include fundamental and non-fundamental components.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fundamental factors &#8211;&nbsp; neglected construction, poorly planned structures, faulty production, poorly managed foundations, loose building elements, etc.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Whereas in non-structural conditions &#8211;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.leadindia.law\/talk-to-lawyer\"> loosely installed heavy objects such as almirahs,<\/a> an infestation of premises by snakes and any other pests<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The safety of children, their teachers, and parents needs to be looked at holistically to include visible and invisible risks that may start suddenly or increase gradually over time.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Improving The Provisions Of Existing For Schools Safety <\/strong>&#8211;&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Substantial investment has been made by the government in creating infrastructure for the education sector.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>There is a need to ensure that all existing and new infrastructure is resilient to locally relevant hazards through design and construction processes.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It is thus important to ensure that all development works undertaken even in non-emergency are designed to ensure their performance during emergencies.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The existing institutions at the national and state level should be strengthened and should be able to take responsibility for school safety planning and action.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Such a move would not only ensure the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.leadindia.law\/ask-free-question\"> strengthening of development policies and programs but would <\/a>also provide the necessary support for security works.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>School Safety Indicates Quality For Planning, Execution, And Monitoring <\/strong>&#8211;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>School Safety is not a one-time effort but a continuous process.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Security principles need to be included in the day-to-day functioning of educational institutions in the country.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The traditional phases of the disaster cycle: preparedness, response, and recovery.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Thus the institutions involved in imparting education in the country need to develop a methodology and approach as a continuously monitored indicator of
