The Custom Office checks and inspects the quality and shipment of goods imported and exported into the country. But there are many types of products that have been detained by the customs authorities on various grounds, the following are the grounds that the goods have been detained by the customs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The goods are detained by the Indian Customs:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
    \n
  1. If the import\/export of the said goods is prohibited<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. If the import\/export of the said goods is bound by circumstances not controlled by the Government.<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Goods seized by Indian Customs are deposited in the first closed position under the administration of Customs. Then, assets are directly disposed of. The goods are not stored in the Customs Administration<\/a> until the prosecution\/trial is over. If the Court orders in approval of Customs, the property is distributed as per the system otherwise the property is handed back to the company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    What is the process of disposal of goods?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    Step 1<\/strong> – Provides a record of detained goods with characteristics of customs classification, quality, capacity, distinctive markings, and where it was manufactured.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Step 2<\/strong> – A Judge will then,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. guarantee the accuracy of the record so preserved<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Accept practicing pictures in your presence and confirm those images as authentic<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Accept the representation of character representations<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      Step 3<\/strong> – The Joint Price Committee will examine the goods and come to the conclusion of levying a fair price\/reserve price of the goods. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Step 4<\/strong> – There will be 4 days for the exhibition of the goods for the review of the proposed customers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Step 5<\/strong> – After review, the properties will be put up for e-auction distribution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Step 6<\/strong> – Food items worth less than Rs 5 lakh are distributed to the National Consumer Corporation of India.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Step 7<\/strong> – Alloy items are auctioned off <\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Step 8<\/strong> – Gold items are auctioned through the State Bank of India.\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n
