we had purchased a property for Rs.50,000 (vacant agricultural site) back in 2008 from the party (who belong to SC community), but unfortunately we only have the agreement copy and the registration didn't happen. For over 15 years, we've been under possession of the property. Now the party is trying to turn a civil dispute into a criminal dispute by threatening to book us under casteist and rape charges if we don't pay the present market value (about Rs. 10,00,000) or hand over the property to them.
