I made a deal on a land and as a tokens money I gave 1 lac rupees to the agent who is authorized by the owner of the land to sale the plot. Later I found there was some dispute in the property hence I cancelled the deal and as per the agreement I asked for the tokens money (1lac). Then the agent of the property gave me a cheque from his own account. But while encashment bank told me that "insufficient balance in the account". Now what can I do in this scenario?
you should communicate with the agent to resolve the issue and request an alternate form of payment. If the matter remains unresolved, you might consider legal action to recover the token money. For further enquiry contact us.
