I am a U.S. citizen who married an Indian citizen in April in Vijayawada, India, in a civil ceremony conducted by a pastor registered with the state. My husband arranged everything, but he has not provided me with any information regarding the pastor’s name or the marriage license. Despite my repeated requests for details, he keeps making excuses. Is there a way for me to verify if the marriage license has been registered?
Sir. to verify the marriage registration, contact the local marriage registrar where the marriage was conducted. You can also file a Right to Information (RTI) application to gather details about the registration process. If your husband is not cooperating, legal advice may be needed to take further action.
