I am currently in Japan and not in contact with my family. I had updated my Aadhaar card in May 2022 in Delhi, but the registered mobile number has been deactivated due to inactivity. I need a copy of my updated Aadhaar to make changes in my Indian passport here in Japan. Is there any way to handle this situation remotely?
You can update your Aadhaar details online only if your registered mobile number works. Since it’s blocked, you must visit an Aadhaar center in India for changes. In your case, appoint someone with power of attorney in India to help you, or visit India to update Aadhaar before renewing your passport.
