There are several land parcels left behind by my late wife in Kallakurichi District, Tamil Nadu. She passed away about 12 years ago. You can proceed by first applying for a Legal Heir Certificate (LHC) from the Tahsildar office in Kallakurichi using the death certificate and family documents. Once the LHC is issued, the legal heirs can execute a Power of Attorney in favor of an Indian relative.
