Can written statement be filed at any time?

I received a notice, a month ago from the High Court regarding quashing FIR, I just want to ask do we need to get permission to file our written statement as there is an unexpected delay. Generally, can we file our statements directly on how long the permission takes to file our statement from the court ? The accused is charged with 420, 417, 34 if IPC , PLS COMMENT?

You have to submit the written statement as soon as possible. If you are beyond the time limit which is 120 days. Then you have to submit with reasonable explanation.
