What are the consequences of cybercrime complaint?

I made a Instagram account on my friends name for prank purposes no wrong intentions intended. he without knowing os asking me who made account filed a cyber complaint after which he got to know whole story so he withdraws complaint but after few days police officer calls him and says that I should go and do a signature there so I went and did but they asked my mobile number, Aadhar number and everything. but does this mean I have a criminal record? if in future I have to get passport then can my passport police enquiry fail?
