What can I do when the traffic police fined me without any reason?

I was smoking cigarettes at a local pan patti shop . One police van came and put me in the van . They took me to police station and imposed fine of bmc . I clearly asked them there was no sign of no smoking near it and I as smoking near the shop .

If the tapri is resided on the non smoking zone and you caught smoking there then you are liable for the fine and if that was not the non smoking zone then you can lodge the complaint agaiinst the police person who fined you
