Students were recently gathered at the ground floor of the Students’ Union Building (SUB) to elect their president. As is usual with such events, the place was bustling with activities. Tunde, one of the members, in an attempt to get to the front row, bumped into two students, Ade and Bryan. Ade’s bag fell down in the process. Bryan, Ade’s boyfriend, angered by this, raised his fist at Tunde and said, ‘‘I would have boxed your face but for the fact that today is a special day’’. Whereupon, Tunde aimed a blow at Bryan’s eyes, striking him in his left eye. The wound required eleven stitches and Bryan was hospitalised for five weeks as a result. In the meantime, Ade organised three hefty-looking students who locked Tunde up in the SUB toilet. Write a legal opinion on the property

If the incident occured in India then both the tunde and the Bryan has the remedy,
1. As the Tunde blown the eye of the Bryan, here Bryan can lodge the complaint against the Tunde for the offence of hurt and the grevious hurt.
2. The Ade who is the gf cannot take law in hands in order to take revenge here the tunde can lodge the complaint for criminal conspiracy and also can file a writ petition for the illegal detention, before the concerned High Court
