Can there be a second marriage without divorce?

My daughter got married secretly in2021 and she has not admitted since then until recently but I somehow forced her to come back and I some what changed her mind and got her engaged to other guy. But I haven’t filed for divorce yet and she’s now changed and is on our side. Can anyone help me with this current situation? And I haven’t told the other family about her marriage yet. Please help.

As per the law second marriage can only be performed when the person marrying had taken the divorce and if not then first he/she should file for the divorce mutual divorce where both the partneers are ready to the conclusion or the Contested one where the one is ready but the other is not
