How can I get the father's name on my child’s birth certificate?

To add the father’s name to the birth certificate of your child, you can approach the local municipal corporation and request a paternity acknowledgment. If the father agrees, he can sign an affidavit or legal acknowledgment. If he refuses, you may need to approach court for a declaration of paternity.
