Sir, I got married through a court marriage on 27th February 2024 with a notarized certificate. Later, as per my family's wishes, we had a social ceremony on 2nd March 2024. Now, I want to register the marriage online. Should the registration date be 27th February 2024 or 2nd March 2024?
The date for registration should be based on the actual ceremony. Since the court marriage occurred on 27th February 2024, it would typically be registered based on that date. However, you may need to confirm with local authorities as some jurisdictions may prefer the date of the social ceremony. Ensure to clarify the specifics with them.
