I am a Nepali national married to an Indian national who is a resident of Bihar. I would like to know the process for marriage registration. Where can it be done, and what documents are required?
You can usually register the marriage in Bihar where either spouse resides. Submit passport/Nepali citizenship proof, spouse’s ID, address proof, age proof, marriage proof, photos, and 2–3 witnesses at the Marriage Registrar/Sub-Registrar Office.
