I am currently working in Bahrain and have a child from a live-in relationship. I need to apply for her passport and include both the father's and mother's names. Can you please tell me how this can be done?
You can apply for the child’s passport by submitting a birth certificate with both parents’ names. A live-in relationship is legally acceptable, and there’s no requirement for marriage proof. You may need to provide an affidavit of parentage (Annexure D or C). Contact the Indian Embassy/Passport Seva Kendra for help. For further legal assistance contact us on our helpline number.
