How to file for Divorce in India?

Not legally married but married in church and have marriage certificate from church.Lived together for 17years.Husband and family have NPD.Abused me physically and mentally. Tried to kill me I ran away and escaped. Filed an Fir against him.Case going on.I need a legal divorce. How is it possible?

File the dv case and 498A against them and also you can file for divorce if agreed by both the parties then go on for the mutual divorce and if one of the person is ready then file for contested divorce
