Hi, I want to get court-married mainly for an H4 Visa for my wife to the U.S. I primarily want the certificate to present in the visa interview. I am from Mumbai (Borivali) and planning to come to India around July 3rd and get the marriage registered. The visa interview is on July 17th, so I want the certificate as soon as possible. What is the best course of action you would suggest?
To get married for visa purposes, you can apply under the Special Marriage Act. After submission, the certificate can be issued within 30 days, but an early application may help. To expedite, you can approach a lawyer and submit your request to the court for a faster process. For further legal assistance contact us on our helpline number.
