Hello Sir/Madam, I applied for a job and was interviewed. The interviewer made me sign an offer letter which stated that I was joining a telecalling sales job, and that after signing the letter, I could not leave the job for any reason. It also mentioned that if I left the job, I would not receive any payment. Is this legal? They have been running this scam for a long time. I want to take action against them—please help.
The offer letter terms are illegal. No employer can stop you from resigning or refuse to pay for your work. You should send them a legal notice and report them to the labour office or police.
