Are there any special legal rules for a Hindu boy to marry a Muslim girl in India?
A Hindu boy and Muslim girl can legally marry under the Special Marriage Act, 1954. They don’t have to convert. Both must give a 30-day notice at the marriage registrar office. Make sure both are above the legal age and have identity/address proofs ready. Religion is not a barrier under this law. For further legal assistance contact us on our helpline number.
