Hi Team, Firstly, I thank you very much because my marriage happened through Lead India. I have a query: I got married through Lead India in Ghaziabad, UP. Now my family has agreed to our marriage, but they don’t know we are already married. My question is, can I get a marriage certificate from my state again after a formal wedding with the same person? I’m asking because I don’t want to disappoint my parents by telling them that I had already married on my own.
Yes, you can get a marriage certificate again after a formal wedding. This will not be an issue, as long as you are marrying the same person. You may need to explain the situation to your parents, but the legal process of marriage registration will proceed smoothly. For further legal assistance contact us on our helpline number.
