Can we get a Special Marriage Act certificate from Ghaziabad, UP in one day? The bride is from Thailand and follows Buddhism. We received the certificate after registration, but it doesn’t mention if it’s under the Special Marriage Act. If it’s not mentioned, will it be accepted by the Thai Embassy for spouse visa purposes?
The Special Marriage Act certificate can be obtained in a day from Ghaziabad if all documents are in order. However, if it is not mentioned in the certificate, it may not be accepted by the Thai embassy for the spouse visa. You should request an amendment or clarification from the registrar.
