How can I legally marry my girlfriend in India?

Since your girlfriend is a foreign national, you can marry under the Special Marriage Act in India. You will need valid passports, visas, proof of age, and residence proof. A 30-day notice must be submitted at the marriage registrar’s office. After the notice period, and if no objections are raised, you can legally solemnize your court marriage.
