My wife and I got married on 12-08-2025 at Gori Shanker Mandir, Model Town, Panipat. We are both residents of Panipat. We now want to obtain our marriage certificate, but both of our families are not in contact with us. How can we get the marriage certificate without their help?
You can get your marriage certificate without family support. Since you married in a temple, apply for registration under the Hindu Marriage Act at the local Marriage Registrar in Panipat. Only the husband, wife, and two witnesses are required. Family members are not mandatory. Carry ID proofs, photographs, and the temple marriage proof/affidavit.
