Hello, My name is Riya Shirsat. I am from Vadodara, Gujarat, and wish to have an inter-caste marriage. I am Hindu, and my partner is Muslim. Due to Love Jihad laws and family opposition, we cannot marry in Gujarat. I saw your video mentioning marriage in Mumbai or Pune. We need your guidance for proceeding with marriage from there.
Due to restrictions in Gujarat, couples often go to Maharashtra (like Mumbai or Pune) where there are no such complications. You can marry under the Special Marriage Act with a 30-day notice. Contact a local lawyer in Mumbai/Pune to help with documents and process. Legal protection is also available if needed. For further legal assistance contact us on our helpline number.
