I want to have a court marriage with my girlfriend. Please explain the safe and legal procedure for court marriage with protection. We are from MP but want to marry in Delhi. Is this possible? If yes, how can we do it? What are the charges?
Yes, you can do a court marriage in Delhi under the Special Marriage Act, but one partner must stay there for 30 days before applying. Submit ID, age, and address proof. Also, file a protection petition in the court if you're expecting threats. The total cost is usually between ₹2,000–₹5,000 with legal help.
