In India, the minimum legal age for marriage is 21 years for boys and 18 years for girls. As both you and your girlfriend are 18 years old, you are eligible to get married under the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955. However, it is important to keep in mind that there may be other factors, such as parental consent and financial stability, that may impact your ability to get married. Before taking any further steps, it may be advisable to consult with a lawyer or a family counselor to ensure that you fully understand the legal and practical implications of getting married at your age.
