I want to enquire about some information about Special marriage act. I want to get married under the Special marriage act. My partner is a resident of Cuttack district, Odisha but her area belongs to a block under Cuttack district. We have all the required documents in support of date of birth and address. I want to register my marriage in Cuttack district, not in the block where my partner is living. Could you please assist in this regard?
Sir, you need to visit the marriage registrar office of your district with all the documents duly signed by you and your partner and 3 witnesses for the Special Marriage Act. You can also book your appointment online or with the help of a lawyer of your area. For further details contact us on our helpline number.
