I am from Odisha and enrolled in a B.Ed. program at Andhra University through an agent who is a government school teacher and coaching-centre owner. I paid ₹60,000 towards the course fee. After securing a State Government job and completing document verification, I requested withdrawal from the course. The agent demanded the full two-year fee and threatened to file an FIR and jeopardize my job. He claims there is an agreement, but I never signed one. I have recorded his threatening calls. What legal action can I take?
