I accidentally shared a pornographic video on Instagram. The video appears to contain a child, but I am not sure whether the person shown is actually a minor or an adult. What legal action can be taken against me in this situation?
If you accidentally shared the video, immediately delete it from your account and do not share or forward it again. Preserve any evidence showing that the sharing was accidental, if available. If the content may involve a minor or suspected child sexual abuse material, avoid downloading, storing, or circulating it further. If contacted by the police, cooperate with the investigation and seek legal assistance immediately. The legal consequences will depend on the nature of the content, whether a minor was actually involved, and the surrounding facts and evidence.
