I am building an ecommerce website that will sell BDSM/sexual products like Mask, Whip, Flogger, Handcuff, ropes, all manufactured in India. And, I am not selling vibrators/dildos/etc. Is it legal to sell cow/animal leather BDSM products? What legal compliances to follow? What are the legal compliances for my e-commerce website? Like age restriction Pop up (age permit is?), etc. Obscenity laws in India I need to mindful of? My products are for external use only, but do I need any medical/ hygiene certificate by any govt entity? Can I sell these under the name of "Sexual Wellness Products?" What are the legal way to write on my website- These products are not returnable and refundable due to the hygiene matter? No liability on my company, if a person using my products caused themselves or other harm or damage.
Sir, selling or offering beef products is prohibited under the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (Slaughter House) Rules of 2000. Implement an age verification process on your website. You can market your products as "Sexual Wellness Products," but ensure you obtain government permission. For further legal assistance contact us on our helpline number.
