I've self acquired real estate, share and mutual fund investments. can i write a WILL to deny any rights on my property to daughter? if die intestate daughter signature needed if my wife/mother want to claim my assets?
Yes, you can write a will to exclude your daughter from inheriting your self-acquired property, shares, and mutual fund investments. However, it's important to note that under the Hindu Succession Act, 1956, a daughter has equal rights to inherit her father's property, whether self-acquired or ancestral.
