I am a foreigner wanting to start a NGO in India and buy a property through that charity association. How much will the process cost me? How long will it take? Can you help me achieve it?
Sir, to start an NGO in India as a foreigner, you will need to choose a legal structure and the registration process can take 1-6 months and may cost between INR 10,000 to INR 50,000. If you want to accept foreign donations, you will also need FCRA approval. For buying property, the NGO must use it for charity work and follow the rules. It is best to consult a lawyer for help.
