Sir, what is the procedure for changing my old name to my new name in the land records? My name was Manju before marriage, and after marriage, I changed it to Rama.
If you have changed your name after marriage, it’s best to get your name officially published in the State Gazette. This acts as strong legal proof. For updating your name in land records and other government documents, Gazette publication adds authenticity and avoids future issues. A lawyer can help you with the process if needed.
