I need to register my builder floor in Gurgaon, purchased in 2007 from Today Homes (which I believe has declared insolvency). The property is jointly owned by me and my wife. I want to know the current circle rates and the required paperwork for registration. Since we are currently living in Canada, I also need clarity on how the timelines will work. Please guide me regarding the appropriate package or assistance needed.
You can register your Gurgaon property through a Special Power of Attorney (SPA) executed in Canada and attested by the Indian Consulate. Circle rates depend on locality, and registration requires original documents, identity/address proofs, and stamp duty payment. Since the builder is insolvent, registration is still possible if you hold valid sale documents. Consult an expert property lawyer to manage timelines and paperwork smoothly.
