What can be done if unable to pay bank loan?

I am struggling to pay my credit card bills and loan EMIs, including both secured and unsecured bank loans. I have also taken loans from some financial apps and am unable to repay them now. Could you please help me understand how to negotiate with the bank and financial institutions? I would like to explore options for debt settlement or loan restructuring. Kindly guide me.

Dear client, In the event that you cannot afford to pay your credit card bills, bank loan EMIs and application loans, first send a written request to all bank loan lenders to have your loans restructured, settled or re-scheduled. This is something the banks may suppose according to the RBI guidelines, yet settlement may impact your CIBIL score. Pay nothing at random, without a written agreement. In case any recovery agent threatens or harasses you, make a complaint with the Ombudsman, the police, and provide a legal notices through an advocate to RBI. If you have any query please feel free to contact us.

Dear Client, The borrower must to submit a written request which includes an explanation of their financial difficulties to the lender in order to receive help with their loan and credit card payments. The Securitisation and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security Interest Act 2002 Section 13 requires banks and regulated lenders to follow specific recovery and restructuring procedures for secured loans. If lenders use coercive recovery methods you may file a complaint with the Banking Ombudsman according to the Reserve Bank of India Integrated Ombudsman Scheme 2021. The loan agreements along with all communications, serve as legal proof which can be used according to the provisions of BSA 2023 Sections 61 and 63.

If you are unable to pay your credit card dues, bank loan EMIs, and app loans, first send a written request to all lenders for loan restructuring, settlement, or EMI rescheduling. Banks may consider this as per RBI guidelines, but settlement can affect your CIBIL score. Do not make random payments without written terms. If any recovery agent threatens or harasses you, you can file a complaint with the RBI Ombudsman, police, and send a legal notice through an advocate.
