Ancestors Property Documents Update

Hi Team, We have an ancestor property and it was purchased by my grandfathers grandmother 170+ years back. My grandfather took care of this and after my grandfather my father took care, now I am taking care of it. The document is still in grandfathers grandmothers name. We have other legal hires that is the reason document was not updated. Now the govt official are asking to get it updated, how do we deal with this?
