Property sealed due to surety loan default — what now?
My mother signed as a guarantor for someone else's loan. They have not repaid the loan, and now the property (in my name) is being sealed. What can we do?

If your mother signed as surety and the borrower defaulted, creditors can attach surety’s property. But if the property is legally in your name, and you can prove it was not part of the surety agreement, you can challenge the attachment in civil court with ownership documents and a legal notice.
