I seek consultation on navigating my marital situation. My spouse and I have been married for seven years, and our marriage is registered in India. I am currently working in Singapore on an Employment Pass, while my wife is studying in Singapore. We do not own any property or have children in Singapore. My spouse has verbally consented to a divorce. Both of us are Indian citizens. I would like to understand how we can initiate the divorce process in India.
