In Divorce case after withdraw payment of lawyer is require or not?
My sister filed for divorce in court, and three mediation sessions failed. However, later the husband and wife resolved the matter mutually, and she decided to withdraw the case. We have already paid half of the lawyer’s fees. Should we still pay the full fees now that the case is withdrawn?
If the case is withdrawn, the lawyer is still entitled to payment for work already done (drafting, filing, attending hearings).
