Require a Will to be made in india

Good Afternoon, I’m looking into getting a foreign will created for assets my father holds in India. He is unable to travel and I have found that this is possible to create in England rather than travelling to India. I was wondering how legitimate the will is and how it will hold up in the Indian courts of law if required. For context my father owns several plots of land in the Punjab district. Currently the plots of land is split between my father and his 3 siblings. It is yet to be determined what land goes to what individual however it is assumed it will be equal. The idea of the Will is to make note that any assets held by my father is to (whether or not they are divided as of yet) fall to me in the event of his passing. Please do let me know if this is something that can be done. Thank you

Yes, it is possible to create a foreign will for assets held in India while you are in England. However, there are a few things you need to keep in mind to ensure that the will is valid and enforceable in Indian courts. Contact us for further enquiry.
