My mother's name is also correctly mentioned as Shubha Gupta. However, in my Class 12th certificate, my name is written as "Gupta Rishabh" and my mother's name as only "Shubha." I have applied for various government jobs. Will this discrepancy cause a problem during document verification? Neither I nor my mother has ever changed our names. The board refuses to correct the certificate, saying this is their naming format. I have already completed an affidavit and published a newspaper notification.
