Must bride disclose previous court marriage during new marriage?

If the bride previously had a court marriage in Palghar district, Maharashtra, and is now divorced mutually, and she is getting married in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, will she need to disclose her previous marriage? During the new court marriage, will it be mentioned, or will only documentation be required?

Dear Client, Since you have already obtained a mutual divorce from your earlier court marriage in Palghar, you are legally free to remarry, and while registering your new marriage in Coimbatore the registrar will only require you to produce the certified copy of your divorce decree to establish that you are eligible; the fact of your previous marriage will not be detailed in the new marriage certificate itself, which will simply record your present status as “divorced” and the particulars of your current marriage, so as long as you disclose the divorce in the application and provide the decree, there is no risk to the validity of your new marriage. I hope this answer helps. For any further queries, please do not hesitate to contact us. Thank You.

If the bride had a previous court marriage and got divorced mutually, then for the second marriage she must show her divorce decree. It is legally required. For the new marriage, only proper documents are needed. Hiding the earlier marriage can cause legal issues, so it is better to disclose it with proof.
