Dear client, If both boy and girl are major and are marrying by free consent, then the normal legal path is under the Special Marriage Act, 1954. The first step to be followed is to file a notice of intended marriage before the Marriage Officer. The notice is published and there is usually a 30-day waiting period for objections. In case no valid objection is raised, the marriage could then be solemnized and registered in the presence of required witnesses with ID/address/age proofs If you have any query please feel free to contact us.
