Section 19 Of Hindu Marriage Act, 1955

All the petitions as per this Act will be filed in the district court within the local limits where - 

(i) The marriage was solemnized

(ii) The respondent resides at the time of presenting the petition

(iii) Where the parties resided last

(iv) Where the petitioner is residing to but the respondent at the time is residing on other territories to the area where the act extends.
