IPC Section 4 - Extension Of IPC To Outside India

IPC Section 4 states that - the laws & provisions in the Indian Penal Code, 1860 are applicable all over India as well as outside the boundary of India. 

According to this section - 

• It is applicable to all Indian citizens whether they are living in India or Outside India
• It is applicable to every person on ship or aircraft ( which are registered in India ) whether they are inside or outside the boundaries of India
• It is applicable to any person ( Whether living within or outside India ) who commits an offence by targeting a computer resource in India

Illustration

Let's suppose an African person "A" commits an offence on the Aircraft which is registered in India. That person "A" will get the punishment as per the laws & provisions in the Indian Penal Code, 1860.
