Dear client, if the police are not helping, you can file a written complaint with the SP or DCP of your district and keep proof of the submission records. You may also send the complaint by post or use online police or cybercrime portals for registration of the complaint. If no action is taken, you can approach the magistrate under section 156(3) CrPC to direct the police to investigate the matter. And in serious cases, you can also complain to the State Human Rights Commission for better resolution. May this help and if you have any further issues do not hesitate to contact us.

If police are not helping, you can file a complaint with the Superintendent of Police (SP), or the State Human Rights Commission. You can also approach the magistrate, requesting the court to direct police to act. For further legal assistance contact us on our helpline number.
