Can my uncle’s pension be revised after clearing POME exam?

My uncle joined the Indian Navy on June 26, 1976, and was relieved from service on June 31, 1991, from the post of LME. He cleared the POME exam in 1990 but was not promoted. Can his pension be revised now?

Dear Client, Be cautious of online fund recovery companies. Many falsely promise to recover money lost in scams and may themselves be fraudulent. In India, legitimate recovery generally takes place through banks, payment platforms, cybercrime authorities and legal proceedings. Report the fraud immediately to your bank and the cybercrime authorities. Do not share OTPs, passwords or pay additional fees to unverified recovery agents. Thank you for contacting us. If you have any further queries, kindly do not hesitate to contact us again. Thank you!

Your uncle can request a review of his pension if he was denied promotion after clearing the POME exam. A formal petition can be filed with the Indian Navy or Pension Tribunal to revise his pension based on his service record and the outcome of the POME exam.
